I cooked Thanksgiving Dinner today.

That was unusual as my wife cooks pretty much all of the time. 

I love her cooking.  I think it is divine to possess a gift like those chefs have - one that allows you to awaken peoples pallates and fill their stomachs with the most wonderful aromas and textures that both please and nourish you.

I appreciate my wife for having that ability, that skill, that care.

I cooked Thanksgiving Dinner today to in a way, pay homage to her ability, so that she knows that I really do appreciate her efforts, year round.

I hope she tasted what I often fail at articulating with words.
